In summer 2008, I participated in a workshop for elementary school teachers with the goal to infuse inquiry into elementary school science classes (see the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History Website for more information). My teachers pulled off an awesome project investigating the food finding behavior of surface and cave fish in light and darkness using experiments monitored with video surveillance technology.
