In November 2005, I attended the Desert Fish Council Meeting in Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila, Mexico, which gave me the opportunity to explore the fishes of the unique desert springs. The species in the gallery include the endemics Herichthys minckleyi and Cyprinodon bifasciatus as well as the exotic Hemichromis guttatus.
